looking for driving lights

I don't have $300 to hrow on lights, but I was impressed with the
Hella 550 clears I used years ago. They were about $60, but huge. I
know Bosch makes a more slim line fog, as well as a driving light.
Blazer also has one that's cheap as hell that I see on cars
everywhere. I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on any of these
lights or lights in that price class.

My 3A driving lights, bought from Pep Boys have run their life as of
last week. They were $30 and I figured they'd be enough for what I
needed. They really weren't and after the first rain strom, filled up
with water. The reflectors blackened soon after and one of the lenses
came off last week. Fortunately, the company is based in Queens, near
Shea Stadium, only a 40 minute drive for me. I contacted their
receiving rep and he's saying he'll do for me what he can and maybe
give me a refurbished pair, provided I can show proof of purchase.
Anyway,I'm gonna head down tomorrow and not give up on this.

So, any advice on any driving lights anywhere as good as the Hella
550 clear driving?
