4kq drivetrain lube change

I pumped using a $3.00 plastic siphon pump. Just as useful for siphoning gas
out of your fathers vehicle when you're broke...but that's another story.
Man. Trans and center diff share the same fluid resivoir...at least on my Audi
90 quattro..I'm 99% sure the 4kq is the same setup for the drain holes.
MAKE SURE you get the fill plugs out before the drain plugs. Otherwise you end
up with the unique problem we had with my buddies BMW 318is. Due to a simply,
yet highly effective, brain fart we pulled the drain plug before the fill plug.
(both were loosened, however). When we went to pull the fill plug out fully
(remember, it WAS loosened)...it came half out and siezed completely. Wouldn't
come out any further.
It was an interesting day...where I eventually pressure filled the rear diff
with 3.25L of fluid. I then had to remove the pump and get the fill plug
in...the whole time getting a high-pressure shower of Hypo fluid. After
measuring the spilled fluid, and squeegying me off...we discovered I had filled
the diff with the exact amount needed...2.5L
Of course, I repelled water for a week...but anyways...
