clutch pedal bushing replacement?

Has anyone successfully replaced the clutch pedal bushing? I'm
referring to the one that engages the master cylinder. mine is
showing some play and gets "ratchety" when really cold. I remember
pulling the pedal off an old 5ktq and the bushing seems to be a
pressed in type thing of unknown material.
