A6 instrn light update

        Hi, Thanks for the info on relamping both the OAT display and the
auto trans gear display. I was 50% successful. The OAT has one bulb but that
module is harder to get out. The auto trans display has 2 bulbs however that
display is easy to remove My Radio Shack only had one 12v bulb that was close
cat # 272-1154 12v 50Ma. Its pins are heavier gauge and spaced closer
together. They also have a plastic base which does not fit the modules. I
enlarged the holes in the modules with a drill to fit the new bulbs.
Replacing the bulbs took me awhile (not much printed board experience). Here
is my problem. The Auto Trans display works normally until I turn on the
lights then the new bulbs illuminate but the front display blanks. Turn off
the lights and display returns. Maybe the board is bad or I damaged it. The
OAT is great and bulb brightness seems fine.
