The broken 90Q story ends (I think.)

Thank you all for your input and help with my story about my Audi 90 Q
being stranded in a podunk mountain town seven hours from Denver.
I got a lead on a German car mechanic who runs a one man shop in a town 40
miles from the car, and he has agreed to take the car and pay the towing
charge. I reckon he's getting a very good deal, but he has a good
reputation and seems like a good guy. It would easily cost me $300 to get
the car home, and another $300 to fix it, and maybe at that point it would
be worth $700-$900, so the numbers just don't add up for me. I paid $1400
for the car (got a great deal) and put a couple hundred into it, but I
drove it 4000 miles and I have a few bits left over I plan to sell (Thule
bike rack, one moth old battery, new never installed multifunction temp
switch) so I figure I got $400 worth of use out of it and maybe I'll be
out $1000. Not bad for an accident on an icy, remote 11,000' mountain
pass.

Now I get to decide what to replace it with too, which will be fun. Maybe
a V8 Q or a 5000Tq or 200, Coupe Quattro or...

Thanks again,
-Joel.
