According to Bentley, for your climate range with the standard multi
weight oils, you should be using 20W-50. Since 50 weight is the highest
I've ever seen, and theoretically the engine shouldn't get any hotter in
So Cal than it does in Canada in the summer once the car is at operating
temperature, then 20W-50 sounds about right. You don't have to worry
about the lower number when the temperature never goes below freezing.
