Oil Cooler Lines : Many posts, no details

I've been scouring the archives and while there are many posts on building
your own rather than pay $160 (each!) to the dealer, I haven't found any
specifics on what people have used. I looked at Aeroquip, and they have a
"Socketless" brand ( http://www.aeroquip.com/pages/whatshot.html
<http://www.aeroquip.com/pages/whatshot.html>  ) that handles 250psi and up
to 300F, but from what I've gathered it's cutting it close on the temp. I
haven't had the opportunity to remove the line and check fitting size or
hose diameter, so that's my fault but someone must have some details to
share...
