LAC! jensen car stereos?

I bought a Jensen CD unit four years ago, to replace the old Alpine unit
that prompted someone to break a window and make a mess of things. The
Jensen seemed a good theft deterrent system, whether I removed the
faceplate or not.

It's been fine, except that:
- after power cycling, it resumes at the beginning of the track (not at
the time where you left it)
- some of the illumination died when I removed and reinstalled the
faceplate once (I've only done so perhaps ten times)
