Whatever happened to the old idea, "If it ain't broke don't fix it"? Odds
are it's just the X-plug O-ring leaking. If that's the case then why
rebuild the whole pump? Direct visual observation should tell you where
the leak is happening. It may require wiping off the surface so that fresh
leakage becomes readily apparent.
