85 4kq hot-start pulse relay

I have been trying to solve my hot-start problems on my 85 4kq.  I
changed out the fuel pump check valve, with no improvement.  The problem
seems to now be the hot-start pulse relay (pg. 25-103 in the Bentley).

What I am wondering, though, is the location of the relay.  I can't seem
to find it in any of the circuit diagrams or relay layouts in the
Bentley.  Also, does anybody know a diagnostic method for finding what
exactly is wrong with the relay?

Any information would be most welcome,
