Hi Gang, oh and where's a good place to get an ignition switched power supply for my new stereo

Rob,
You said 100 but not what year. I can tell you that for the
92-97 100/A6 type of car you can get this type of signal on
the Central Electrical Panel. This is under the steering wheel
on the left-hand-drive models. Don't know if it's on the left or
right on the right-hand-drive models.
On this panel there are 6 relays across the top and across the bottom
there are 8 bolts with wires attached.
The circuits are labeled with numbers.
The two leftmost circuits are number 30.
The 2nd from the right is number 15.
Circuit number 15 is the ignition circuit. It is energized
when the ignition switch is in the ON or START position.
