Rob, I didn't intend any offense to you.  My "backside" reference was
specifically to the US's war of independence, and not the Present.  We're
currently allies, not enemies.

There was no "gleefulness" in it at all; I'm simply glad that I live when
and where I do, and appreciative of why I have this freedom and of who
bought it for my family.
