Can't get discount from dealer because I don't have a member number?

I don't understand? I have been a member of this list for 4-5 years, I have
bought parts from Carlsen Audi before but yestrday, the person I talked to
said I had to pay the list a fee and get a member number. What gives? Do I
need a member number?

I need a transmission mount for my '90 80 non-Q, and it is dealer only, yuk!

If I don't need a member number then who can recommend a west coast dealer
who will sell to m, at discount........
