Javad's quest for low ETs and a victory was successful, although not in the
same run!  I'll let him explain later, but the short version is he turned a
13.2 in qualifying, better than the S4 BiT, and won the final because the S4
redlighted bigtime.  Unintended acceleration, I guess.
Other than that, it was hot, there was lots of rude, rhyming "music" being
played way too loud, and a lot of chrome, wild paint, big wheels, lowered
cars, and carbon fiber.  Oh, and lots of displays where the vendors were
giving out free bottles of icy cold water!  Nice touch, and GREAT PR!
On the way home, Lyn and I stopped for lunch in Parkfield, CA, where the
restaurant and inn straddle the San Andreas Fault.  Good food, interesting
place, but no quake while we were there .............  Later, John
