NAC: Anti-SPAM?

I am currently using M$ Outlook Express as a mail client. I've tried a
couple of anti-spam client-side tools, but so far I havent' found one with
enough manual control.

The issue is that while it does an excellent job on SPAM, no matter how many
ways I try to fix it I still lose list messasge both from here and from the
another list. My question:

Is anyone using a client-side antio-spam tool right now that works well
enough that you don't feel compelled to scan the SPAM box just in case a
good email got in there?
