87 - 5KCSQT - Oilters & Noisy lifters...

I had a good case of noisy lifters when I got my CGT. In fact one lifter would tick like mad all the time, totally stuck. I was able to get rid of almost all my lifter noise with a couple applications of Marvelous Mystery Oil. Basically about 500 miles before an oil change I would add a quart of MMO and just drive normally. Then change the oil. It took about 3 treatments to do the job. Now my lifters only tick on cold starts for about 10 seconds, sometimes less. Also, wwhen I got her, I would change the oila nd it would "look" dirty within 500 miles, now it stays clean looking for at least 2,500 miles.
