I've used MMM, Flush and Lubromoly? stuff before.
Works well and agree about the seals. If they're
already leaking and you're going to replace, why not.
My rides are old/beat and most came that way. I don't
know where this advice all comes from, but I think
engine hot (take it for a nice ride), decent quality
and quantity of oil, add flush and run with no load
for 5 min.? +or-. Drain immediately and fill w/ good
oil/filter. Been working well for me. But then I
wash my engines so YMMV. FWIW, MMM and then ATF in 2
quick successive oil changes quieted some horrible
clattering on a 200k mile 2.5L Chevy truck motor.
Been running really well for 20k+ miles now. No more
loud engine noises.
