well since i only got the block and head for the MC im using everything else from my KH.
i just looked at my haynes (ill explain) and it says that the KH runs on ~5 bar fuel pressure
and the MC runs on ~6 bar fuel pressure. is this thing going to run way too lean?
can i simply update my fuel pressure regulator?
(there is a chance im using some MC fuel parts already... and my car was slightly rich before...)
ok... why i use a haynes: bently manual says "pull out injector"
haynes give a 5 step break down on HOW to pull out the injector giving that part number of the tool they used.
i sometimes HATE haynes too... like how the 5k manual has a vacuum diagram for MC but not KH...
and other things like that which drive me NUTS!!!
my advice? spend the $100 dollars on the bently its worth it... then spend $10 on the haynes (even more worth it).
i am going to go to efi soon enough... but probably a few months down the road at least... so i dont want to burn out a piston
in the mean time.
