howling after T-belt job?

Had a timing belt job done yesterday and something is whining/howling. The job consisted of timing belt, idler pulley, water pump (w/ new seal), crank seal, and all accessory belts. I believe the parts were of good quality, I got them as a timing belt kit from TPC. The howling is coming from the front of the engine and I do not belive it is an accessory belt squeling. I talked to the shop that did the work, they said "give it a day or so , who knows how long that pump was on the shelf it may just need some time exposed to the coolant."  It was  still hwoling this morning as I dropped the car off at the window tinter.  So, what do you all think?
