We recently had a good local shop replace the vent flap motors in out '95 A=
6q climate control system along with a recharge on the AC. (I simply did no=
t have the time to tear into it that deep.) The work was mostly done well (=
in that you can't tell they had it apart and everything still works, plus t=
he flaps operate correctly now). However, there is a new climate control/AC=
problem that has cropped up in the wake of this major job.
Now, when the ambient temp is above around 75-80 degrees (f) the AC won't r=
un and the "recirc" function is locked out (the tech in the shop and I thin=
k that may be a function of the AC not running perhaps). Below those temps =
the compressor runs fine, pressures are normal, and vent temps are cold. Of=
course it is above 75-80 when we want the AC to work! So far, the tech is =
stumped. There are no codes being set in the climate control computer and w=
hen the AC is working everything seems normal.
Any C4 chassis climate control system BTDTs out there for this kinda thing =
will be greatly appreceated. TIA
