Brake switch interrupting cruise control operation

It's more likely a good cleaning will do the job, btdt.

Once upon a time I did this, using spray electrical cleaner.  Before
cleaning, the switch(es) didn't even get down to zero ohms, more like
50-70 ohms, and would "open" with the tiniest motion, less than 1 mm.
After cleaning, resistance was in the fractional ohm range, and they
stayed "closed" for about 2 mm or so of motion.

Do the clutch switch while you're down there, too.
