Yup that's it! I got her going, thanks! Just for the archives... If your ignition switch dies and the start position won't work (but the run position is OK), you can wire in a start button. The wires to tap into are red/black (red with a black stripe) and the red. If you use wire taps and a 2-pole switch (I suggest using a nive heavy duty spring loaded/purpose built starter button, under $15 at your FLAPS), you can leave this wired up all the time and not effect the workings of the original switch. That way either will work. I found it easiest to tap into the wires where they all come together in the squirls nest of wires up next to the clutch pedal rather than pulling the steering wheel colum apart.
