5KTQ hesitates, makes popping sound, error 2141

My Ford does that popping thing when its damp or rainy out.
Its the spark jumping to ground (hood, block, metal, etc......
Someday I'll change it.
MAC:  My 200 10V Avant did the same thing.
First during snow in 5th gear at 1.3 bar, then 1.2 bar,
then 1.1 bar, then uphill loaded in 5th, then 4th under load.....

As resistance builds the spark goes for the path of least resistance.

Hi all,

this is a follow-up for the archives: See below for symptoms, it got worse
since April but I fixed it this morning when I replaced the ignition wires
and plugs. The car sctually began to stumble and sputter... I need to put
hose clamps around that intercooler though...
