just read this...

<snip>
The engine is a stock 4kq JT block and head modified to recieve the turbo p=
arts and MAC-07 management from an '85.5 5kt. Luckily the previous owner ha=
d replaced the engine at some point and installed an MC flywheel with timin=
g pin so as to get a larger clutch! After verifying the KH and MC computers=
 expected the pin in the same location I clearanced the block to fit the fl=
ywheel sensors
<snip>

so that can be ruled out...

  ok guys... help me troubleshoot my ignition...
  i checked my 3 sensors, tdc, knock and rpm and all 3 are good...
  checked hall sender to ecu and its good... checked the wires.. good...
  checked the coil... good...
  coils ground is grounded...

  just a thought... is there a chance the timing pin is different from kh
  to mc?
  could this be my problem?

  one thing that makes me suspicious that something is hooked up wrong
  is as soon as the key goes to acc the oil pressure jumps up before the en=
gine
  is started... what sensor sends oil pressure?
  how do i check it?

  what else should i check?

  man im so frustrated right now...

  timing is correct...
  at tdc the rotor points at 1...
  what connectors affect ignition?

  everything was working before i put the engine in so im doubtful of a fai=
lure
  of any sort...
  so id like to assume everything works perfect...

  thanks...
