NASCAR (oh, is that SPEED) TV

If every Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari, Lambourghini, Jaguar (+ any other
exotics) owner collectively complained about the NASCAR content on speed, it
wouldn't make any difference. Collectively we are not enough of their
target market to matter and our voices are insignificant compared to the
huge number of nascar fans who would be vocally outraged if their beloved
left turn viewing was cut back in favor of 'our' favorite forms of
motorsport.
Speedvision is going to target their programs to the widest possible viewing
audience - that happens to by Billy Bob and Bubba (no disrespect intended)
Also, I'm sure the advertisers on Speed also dictate programming to a
significant degree. Would you want to advertise the 'tornado' air intake
(what a crock of $$%^&*) during a broadcast of the Australian super touring
cars..? I don't think so.
I cancel the cable in summer so haven't watched in a couple months. One of
the programs I liked the best was Motorsport Mundial, especially featuring
the Big Rig racing in Europe. The format was pretty good too - short and
sweet (1/2 hour) and basically only featuring the highlights. Do they still
have that show on?
