Worn cam jornal

When I put in my HD valve springs I noticed that the
cam journal back by the dist gear was pretty badly
worn, I could feel small groves in it.  I contacted
Blau about it because it was fine until I put thier
cam in. I haven't heard anything back yet.  I honestly
feel there was a flaw in the cam that caused this.

I put everything back together, and the car works
fine, but I hate having this in the back of my head.
Should I just use the "Hear no evil see no evil"
philosophy, or should I fix it?

If so can you even fix it, or is my whole head
trashed?
