The blue wire is the field wire, and it attaches via a nut to a
rather small binding post.  Couldn't tell you off hand -where- on the
back of the alternator, but I think it's near the (much larger) post
for the battery cable...and it's the only one.  It probably has a
marking on the plastic around it.

It does not go on any of the posts around the outside edge- that's
for the air scoop, and they are obviously grounded, which would be a
bad thing to do with the field wire.
