MC conrods: forged or cast?

Well, not sure about the con rods but they look pretty cast to me!  I know
the MC pistons are actually forged - confirmed with this Mahle, Inc. (and
lost a bet) so don't take my word on the rods at this point :)
I'd love to hear the answer too! Maybe I can make my $5 back! :)
