Yep, seems I did them up with the wheels off the deck.... Doh! Doh! Oh well,
I wont do that again, ill order some polyurethane ones anyway, they are not
that much more...

Did you have the weight of the car on the front wheels when you did the
final torqueing of the control arm bolts?  If not then they were immediately
stressed when you set the car down and that will lead to premature failure,
BTDT.

Wow, 6mths and approx 3000 miles ago I replaced my front bushes.... Now my
lhs bushes are destroyed, and the tyre!!!! He he, too much roundabout fun I
think....
So options are delrin or polyeurethane, I know the pros and cons of each,
but my question is, where is the cheapest source of either. Incidently the
bushes I fitted were a good brand... .someone like bilstein or boge afaik!!!
Oh... car is a 1990 90q 10v!!!!!
