re. how do u remove driver seat armrest type 44?

Don,

Use a long allen wrench which is inserted through a small hole in the
side closest to the passenger.  There should be a plug or a slit to fit
the wrench through.  I think it is a 5mm try a 6mm first 'cause you
don't want to strip the head.  Remove the long bolt and pull the arm
off.  2 minute job once you fid the allen key..

You'll have to dig around to find a suitable plug for the hole once
armrest is removed.
