1986 Coupe GT in Baltimore...need advice

So YOU'RE the guy! :-) Tornado red, 83k miles, outside Baltimore? If so,
I'm pretty sure that's the same car I emailed about only to find out it had
been sold hours before. If that's the case, congrats. And if not,
congrats.
I'm a little rusty, but a poorly running 2.2 could be many things...fuel
filter, fuel pump (hear any bees?), 02 Sensor, injectors, idle stabilizer,
check for arcing from the plug wires (this happened to me and I nearly lost
my mind diagnosing). Also not a bad idea to run a pint of Techron through
the tank first, it might be gunked up.
You're probably already all over this, but if not -- first search the list
archive, as it contains years of priceless info and advice.
I'd also suggest:
http://www.humanspeakers.com/audi/
http://www.igdc.com/ejfluhr/Audi/Coupes.html
http://www.grandtouring.org/
and the www.audiworld.com 4000/GT forum isn't bad.
Good luck!
Jonathan
