Update: Bushing in the crank removal

Thanks to everyone that replied.
I was able to remove it yesterday.
However, it was not without a little pain. I used the FHLP (huge locking
pliers) while locking the crank. Well... The external part of the bushing just
crumbled to pieces, leaving in the crank end the internal part, which I found
out was "caked" to the crank end.
Solution was to get my porting bur and "eat" the thing out of the crank, with
the precaution of not damage the crank. I don't think I need to port the crank
end, do I?
This was one of the things I call: "one-hour-bolt"
It's just one thing (a nut, a bolt, a bushing, etc.) but takes an unreasonable
time to do it, and even longer to explain to the wife. "... you said that you
just needed to remove one bolt, and that was more than an hour ago!?!"
