And lets not forget more rotating mass can acutally be your friend
launching a quattro off the line, when traction is not an issue. There's
just that much more energy stored to transfer to the wheels at the drop
of a clutch. Now once you're going, and want to be able to do some
really fast shifts and revmatching, is really where I see the advantage
to the quicker response.
