Not trying to argue but trying to understand. Wouldn't leak down
de-pressurize the fuel lines causing long cranks on cold start with or
without the CSV activated?

Cold starts are not adversely affected by injector leakdown because
there is start assist by the cold start valve as well as enriched
mixture
by the ECU via temp sensor input.
