you'd still be talking about a few seconds to firing - not the
oscillating idle problem described in the original post.
My bet is on a small air leak, bad CIS temp sender, misadjusted static
fuel mixture, perhaps an iffy OXS...
Really the "solution" is the test or examine the ten or so things that
can screw up CIS-E to find the problem.
