Loose corner marker lamp

Hello everyone. On the freeway tonight the driver's side corner lamp on my
1995 90 Sport Quattro completely popped out. When I got home, it was dangling by
its cord. I noticed it wasn't fitting quite right the other day, so I tried
pushing it back, and it just slides in and out -- doesn't click into place or
anything like that, like the passenger-side lamp does. Any suggestions for how
to get it to stay (other than the tape that will be on it tomorrow)?
