When it comes to fragile trannies the S4tt and A4's for that matter have been much less than reliable, especially in light of Audi's past (hold the stripped 1st gear UrS4 phenomenon), my 80tq still's on the original tranny with hard track days and smokey, 4 wheel 1-2 gear turn/burns at the track. I agree though, not too many trannies will hold up to on-boost power shifts, you have to let off the throttle, shift, then get back into the boost very discretely, no getting sloppy or dragging clutches in high hp app's.
