Winter Floor Mats

My driver side floor mat is taking a beating from the winter weather and the
heel of my shoe constantly digging itself in near the gas pedal.

Are there carpeted floor mats with a reinforced or rubber-reinforced area near
the pedals to keep me from eroding a hole through the floor mat.

Alternatively, which all-rubber winter mats would you recommend?
