87 4kq overheating

The coolant in my car has been getting really hot in this cold weather.
Some mornings when its less than 10 deg F out, I never get any heat coming
inside the car and the car overheats.

On warmer days it's fine.  The heat blows hot air and everything.  Just
looking for any ideas.
