dead 5000 turbos with fuel problems

my 90tq is having the same problem that other old 5000 turbo motors are hav=
ing... no fuel getting to the engine at low revs... or something similar.
go to idle and it dies... gradually gets worse over a day or two till its u=
nstartable.
anyone who has had this problem figure out what causes it? im sure there ar=
e MANY possible causes... but audi problems seem to be consistant from car =
to car... seems to be the same problems over and over again...
if youve had this happened what caused it?
my fuel pump still runs...
all my fuel tray is very salt beaten...
my fuel lines are starting to corrode near the hangers...

any ideas...
