Proportioning valve and other brake bleeding techniques

Hi Scott;

You move the lever to the end of it's stroke so the valve is fully open and
hold it in that position using the method of your choice (wire, tie wraps,
chewing gum, wood wedgie, whatever works for you :0)

How is the proportioning valve "proped open" to do this?

Then prop the proportioning valve wide open and
bleed the RR & LR calipers.
