It does not start...now what (200 Turbo)

Hi fellow listers,
During all winter my '89 200 FWD turbo has had warm start problems and low
"cranking" idle, sometimes it took as much as 10 minutes to restart.
Considering that I have to do all the work on it outdoors, I decided to wait
for spring... but now the car does not start at all, starter cranks and
seems OK, but motor does not follow. I'm pretty tight financially, so before
I call for a towride to the shop, I would like to know if there's something
I can do on my own, thought maybe wires, rotor , cap and sparkplugs may do
the trick, but I'm no expert so really don't know what to do.
