Went to the Twin Cities new car auto show yesterday, and thoroughly
enjoyed myself.

Things of note.
1) Please don't shot me, but for the money, I really like the new Honda
CRV. Decent power, part time all wheel drive, and plenty of room inside.
2) Don't shoot me part 2, I really like the new Chevy/GMC midsize
trucks. Nice styling, I4(2.8l) or I5(3.5l) engine which is a direct
knock off of the Vortech I6 engine. I would have to go with the crew cab
version, just so that I could seat more than myself and one passenger.
3) Being 6'3", I can't fit in ANY convertible offered on the market. My
line of site is directly in line with the top of the windshield.
4) Still love the A6 Allroad, but I wouldn't want it with the V6, only
the V8.
5) Love the S4 and S4 Avant. Mentioned to the sales person that it would
be fun to debadge so you could blow away all the "ricer boys", he
mentioned that even without badges, the Subaru guys will probably know
what you have, I mentioned, "Maybe, but the Honda boys wouldn't." <evil
grin>
6) I wish I had the money for a VW Toureg. Great body, great engines (V8
would be preferable), and just overall "greatness".
7) Love the Mini Cooper, but the pedals are WAY too close together for
my big feet. Darn, that would have been a great fuel efficient "buzz bomb".

Speaking of money, if anyone knows of any job leads for a computer geek
in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area, PLEASE contact me off list. Being
laid off sucks, these last two weeks are driving me crazy.
