4kq- ign distributor 'rattle' q's

   The bushing or bearing in the ignition distributor of my 87 4kq is
rattling/creaking and/or otherwise complaining.  I went to just pull it out
to try and lube it while figuring out a solution but got stymied right off
the bat!  What is the deal with this thing?  The dist. clamp seems to be
riveted in place?! I found an old post in the archives indicating that it's
a threaded fastener of some sort- any tips on how to remove it?  [Bently
offered nothing constructive...]

   Are service parts for the dist. available?  It's working fine, I'd rather
not buy a whole new distributor if I can avoid it.

   All input appreciated.
