Wiper motor issue reset

I'm having the exact same problem.  They started out resting a little higher
each day for 3 days, then finally they settled on a resting point where they're
both vertical.  I did have some engine work done about the same time, but the
problem started appearing the day I dropped the car off at the shop, so it's not
likely they're connected. ;)  I didn't suffer any engine failures, or battery
failures prior to this happening... it just happened.  I've tried running them,
then killing the engine when they're down, but as soon as I turn the car back
on, they reset to the vertical position.

I don't know why I didn't ask earlier.
Trying to get the wipers to rest where they are supposed too.
Right now (turned off) they are straight up and down.
I suspect they died there when the battery croaked.

How to reset them?
Run then pull fuse?
