abs engaging during normal driving

I just did some work on my 1990 V8 and had the same problem.  Most likely, your ABS sensors are dirty.  To fix this, just take the wheel off, locate the sensor (in front of rear brakes, which is where I had been working), pull it out ggeennttllyy, clean it off, maybe spray just a little compressed air into the hole that it went in, and reverse process.  You'll probably want to do the fronts as well, just to keep the signal evenly dispersed, cause if they are all dirty, then it might start doing it from the front, though mine is fine.
