Ed,

That's too broad a statement to make.  I can see where you're soming from,
having the V6 12V in the heavier and larger 100 and probably mated to
an auto transmission -- recipe for slow.

In the smaller Audi 90 series, and with a manual transmission, the
V6 12V is not too bad.  Not any worse than the torque-less
N/A 20V I5 anyway...
