The upper engine cover (if that's what you're asking
about, Tom) is held on with the same kind of
fasteners. A wide-bladed screwdriver helps, but you
can actually work them with your fingers. They're
spring-loaded, so you push in and twist -- similar to
Dzus fasteners, but made of high-impact plastic.
You'll need to remove that upper engine cover to
change spark plugs, for example -- and note that the
12V V6 uses the smaller-diameter spark plugs, so if
you haven't acquired a wrench of that size you'll need
one. (The plugs are "shrouded," for lack of a better
word, by the intake manifold or something, too, so be
sure you've got at least a 6" extension for ease of
access.)
You'll need to remove the lower belly pan to change
the oil and filter. It's not that big a deal, all the
stuff is up near the front of the engine, easy to get
to.
Good luck with your quest, and let us know what you
find!
