Assuming that
http://www.audiworld.com/model/historical.html is
anything like accurate, the Sport is available only
with quattro, and only in '94 -- they list no Sport
option for the '93.
It's also a tick slower to 60 than the other models
(S=8.2, CS=8.4, CS sport q=8.7), due almost certainly
to the extra weight of the quattro.

That certainly seems to be the case here, except that
it doesn't look like you can get quattro WITHOUT the
Sport package, at least in '94. In '93 the equivalent
model is simply called the CS quattro, with almost
identical specs to the '94 CS quattro sport. There
appear to be some differences in trim levels, but
basically it seems (again, if the Web site is
accurate) that the Sport version is fully optioned
out.
Nothing on the Audiworld Web site discusses such
subtleties as shock valving, spring rates, sway bar
thicknesses, and the like, so it is conceivable that
the Sport 90 has uprated suspension components versus
the standard 90s of comparable years. I know that
with the A4, Audi's sport package has substantive
improvements (well, they're improvements to my mind,
anyway :-) over the standard A4. But even if they're
not, shocks and sway bars are easily upgraded, and
they're a fun part of personalizing a car for your own
tastes and application.
