hydraulic pump -strange sound?

Noticed a kinda rumbling sound from the engine compartment and near as I ca=
n tell it is coming from the hydraulic pump.  Looked through the archives -=
 saw allot about leaks but almost nothing about noise.  I sprayed some lubr=
icant between the pump and the belt (where I thought the bearing would be) =
and it stopped the noise for a while.

I am no mechanic and need some help here.  The pump is not leaking, the hyd=
raulic fluid is till pretty much green, it just makes a lousy rumbling  sou=
nd.  Maybe a bearing? belt? or the pump is just on its last leg?

Any help appreciated.
